One year again, Compostela welcomes one of its most representative parties : As Festas do Apóstolo . From today and during two weeks , the city celebrates their festivals in honor of Santiago Apóstol and their streets and squares are crowded of party-time performances. Activities that have as reference point the night of July 24th , night in which Obradoiro Square hosts the spectacular light and sound perfomance” Fogos do Apóstolo ” . This year the fireworks will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the appointment of “World Heritage City “ .
